Starfish Bowl (no. 3)

My Starfish Bowls are hand built with stoneware paper clay. The interior is under glaze with a clear glaze on top, the exterior is a metallic glaze. Every bowl is individually hand built and decorated free-hand by slip trailing dots, making each piece a one-of-a-kind. Slip being a mix of clay and water mixed to a certain consistency, adds an extra fun textured element to the surface. Done during quarantine, it was something about the repetition of placing the dots that soothed my soul. And, the color, I just had to have more color in my work.
